Feral cats who have had no human interaction are best suited to an outdoor environment for long term happiness. Our goal is to find a safe place for these deserving cats to live their days where they can help with rodent control. If you are in need of a mouser for your stable, shed, shop, barn, winery, or nursery, please fill out our application!

Our barn cat program is on a donation basis. We ask adopters to provide a safe, enclosed outdoor structure and daily food and water in exchange for quality and natural mousing services.

To ensure success, our program coordinator will learn about your property to match you with cats best matched to your needs - customized placement! A Silverton Cat Rescue volunteer will even deliver your barn cats to you, set up their acclimation zone, and provide you information about best steps for integrating your cats into their new home.
